The 41mm OSAR-D Arctic Edition builds on the strengths of the SAR-D, originally issued to Canadian SAR (Search and Rescue) Techs in the early 2000s. Today's OSAR-D is re-engineered with upgraded MaraGlo illumination, larger indices, improved cyclops and a Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement with Incabloc® Shock Absorber. Continuing the tradition of offering a white dial option for models in the SAR lineup, the Arctic OSAR-D provides better legibility in bright and snow-blind scenarios.

Large rubber buttons and a 2-inch diagonal digital display enhance user-friendliness. The timer, powered by a included AA battery, withstands constant use and can be easily washed down. With a 24-hour capacity, it counts down in 1-second intervals, followed by a loud beeping for 1 minute. The count-up feature allows tracking elapsed time. Building upon that legacy, the 41mm OSAR-D was re-engineered and launched in 2024 with upgraded MaraGlo illumination for enhanced visibility, larger indices for quick reading, and an improved cyclops date window. Yet not all operators, nor missions, are built the same. A 36mm size was added to the lineup (in both dial colours) to accommodate smaller wrist sizes.
